I have had a slow start to my summer. Things gradually moved in the right direction on Saturday. I began working on my art. This is a picture from my planning album for the Galaxy Door. I had a great time arranging the parts. I LOVE the organic process of creating art. I am a huge fan of the genre Magical Realism (Laura Esquivel and Gabriel Garcia Marquez), and I like to keep my eyes open to the moments when I have crossed over into the magic realm; when I create (these large pieces in particular) I feel like I have stepped into a new dimension where a sweet magical charm is cast over time and action.
